Escape to our beautifully styled pod, ideal for family holidays or romantic getaways. Tucked away in a serene woodland setting, where a carpet of bluebells transforms the landscape into a fairy-tale scene each May.
Our pod comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children with a cozy pull-out sofa bed. Essentials like bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience.
The Mainstay sits on a private 0.5-acre fenced paddock, offering a safe haven where children and dogs can roam freely and play to their hearts' content. Although we are too remote for Wi-Fi, the pod benefits from reliable 4G phone reception, keeping you connected.
Enjoy luxurious amenities like a wood fired hot tub, sauna ,BBQ, fire pit, tree hammocks, and a box of outdoor games .

A fully-equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge (complete with a small freezer), and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with 4 complimentary coffee pods. All necessary cookware, utensils, plates, cups, and glassware are provided to meet your culinary needs.

King Size Bed:
Sink into comfort with our king-size bed, adorned with quality bedding, soft pillows, and luxurious linen. Stay cozy with extra blankets at your fingertips, and keep your essentials close with a convenient bedside shelf.
Double Sofa Bed:
Perfect for extra guests or children, our foldable double sofa bed offers comfort and flexibility. An ideal solution for accommodating additional visitors. Linens and bedding are provided.
Modern Bathroom:
Shower room, complete with basin and toilet. We provide fresh towels, toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo and a bathroom mat. For added convenience, a toddler seat is available to accommodate our younger guests.
Cosy Comfort:
Stay warm and comfortable with gas heating and a continuous supply of hot water.

For your entertainment, a TV is mounted on the wall, provided are lots of DVDs for all tastes.
Books and Board Games:
Unplug and unwind with our selection of books and board games, offering endless entertainment.
Clean and Convenient:
We've got you covered with clean dishcloths, tea towels, washing liquid, and eco-friendly cleaning products. Additionally, a small supply of tea, coffee, and sugar is provided to kickstart your mornings. Firelighters and matches are also available for the hot tub and fire pit.

Tall hedges ensure seclusion from other guests, while providing a secure space for you and your pets to roam freely. Unwind amidst the lush greenery, knowing that your peaceful retreat is safeguarded from the outside world.

Ample Parking:
To preserve the root area of the ancient oak tree on our site, we kindly request that all cars remain outside the paddock. Parking for The Mainstay is located just outside this area.
There is a short walk of 30 meters from the parking area to your accommodation. If you need assistance with carrying your belongings, please let us know when you make your booking. We are more than happy to help and ensure your arrival is as smooth and convenient as possible.

Hot Tub Preparations:
Opt for the ultimate relaxation experience by having the hot tub filled and lit ready for your arrival. Please note that this service requires 48-hour notice and is applicable for 3 pm arrivals only. Alternatively, guests are welcome to light the tub themselves, with full instructions provided in the cabin and our website.

“Just got home after a 4 day stay at the Hidden Wood glamping pod. If you are thinking of booking this, do it. It’s perfect. Idyllic location, stylish & cosy, immaculately clean & laid out with everything you need for family fun or a couples break. We took our dog who loved free run of the safe & contained paddock. The hot tub is fabulous, watching the sun go down with a glass of wine after a fun filled day at Longleat was perfection.
